About Trendora

Last reviewed

Trendora is an online clothing store selling jackets, kurtis, sneakers, shirts, everyday basics and accessories to customers across India. This page explains who runs it, how we decide what to stock, how we make money, and where our responsibilities to you begin and end.

Who we are

Trendora trades as Trendora and is operated by [[ TODO: registered legal entity name ]], registered under company number [[ TODO: company registration number ]]. Our registered office is at:

[[ TODO: registered office address ]]

We have been trading since 2025. We are a small team, not a marketplace: every item listed on this site is stocked and dispatched by us, so when something goes wrong there is exactly one company to hold responsible, and it is this one.

What we sell, and what we don’t

We sell a deliberately narrow catalogue across six categories: men’s jackets, women’s kurtis, sneakers, men’s shirts, everyday basics and accessories. A narrow catalogue is a choice. It means we can photograph, wear-test and size-check every item rather than drop-shipping a catalogue of a hundred thousand SKUs we have never touched.

We do not sell counterfeit goods, we do not relabel unbranded stock as a designer product, and we do not list an item as in stock when it is not. Where a product is made by a third-party brand, that brand is named on the product page.

How we choose products

A product gets listed when it clears four checks, in this order:

  1. It survives a wash. Cotton items are washed at least five times before listing. Anything that shrinks beyond its stated tolerance, pills badly, or bleeds dye is rejected regardless of margin.
  2. The sizing is honest. We measure the garment flat and publish those measurements rather than relying on a supplier’s size chart. Where a garment runs small or large, the product page says so.
  3. The construction holds. Seams, zips and fastenings are checked on a sample from each production run, not just the showroom sample.
  4. The price is defensible. If we cannot explain why an item costs what it costs relative to the alternatives we already stock, we do not stock it.

Products that fail a check after listing are delisted. We would rather have an empty category page than a category page padded with items we do not believe in.

How we make money

Two ways, and we would rather you heard both from us:

  • Retail margin. We buy stock and sell it for more than we paid. This is the overwhelming majority of our revenue.
  • Advertising. Some pages on this site display ads served by Google AdSense. We do not control which specific ads appear, we are not paid by the advertisers directly, and no advertiser has ever been given a say in what we stock, how we rank products, or what our buying guides recommend. Ads never appear on our cart, checkout, order confirmation, search, or policy pages.

Our Editorial Policy sets out in detail how we keep the advertising side of the business away from the recommendation side, and our Cookie Policy explains what advertising cookies do.

Who writes our buying guides

Our category introductions, comparison tables and buying guides are written in-house by the same people who select the stock and answer the support email. They are not commissioned from freelancers who have never handled the garment, and they are not generated and published unread.

When a guide states a fact that can be checked — a fill power, a fabric weight in GSM, a temperature rating — that figure comes from the manufacturer’s specification or from our own measurement, and the product page says which.

Where our expertise ends

We know clothing retail. We are not textile scientists, dermatologists, or safety testers. Nothing on this site is medical advice; if you have a skin condition, a fabric allergy, or a specific safety requirement for workwear, consult a professional rather than a buying guide. Our Disclaimer sets out the full limits of what we publish.

A note on the current catalogue

This installation of Trendora is running on sample catalogue data. The products, star ratings and review counts shown across the site are illustrative and do not represent real inventory or real customer reviews. Because of that, we do not emit review structured data to search engines, and no order placed here is fulfilled. Product ratings are labelled as sample data wherever they appear.
